New in the Shop: Corriedale DK

It's been awhile since we had something special to offer in our mill shop, but as we head towards show season you might see more listings. If you've been waiting to snatch up some decadent seconds, wait no longer. Today we've added some 100% Corriedale in DK weight, dyed in exceptionally rich heathered hues that will bring something special to your stash or a new project.

Corriedale is one of our favorite fibers and is raised throughout the USA, making it one of our top choices for a great domestically produced yarn. For anyone who hasn't worked with this fiber, you'll find it slightly less soft than Merino, but with more personality and that classic "woolly" hand without the itch factor.

This 3-ply wool is a favorite for anything you want to squish: sweaters and scarves, shawls and baby blankets. At a DK weight, it will work up quickly into nearly anything you might dream up.

You'll find these knit-ready seconds skeins in our mill shop at a great price (usually this retails for $30 / skein).

Five heathery colors are available in this yarn, and three are designed to coordinate into a beautiful golden gradient: Bright Yellow Green, Medium Yellow Green, and Dark Yellow Green. Create a unique 'dipped' look for your next project.
